Storm Damage Encourages Homeowner to Get Elegant New Siding
A Pennsylvania home was unfortunately damaged in a hail storm. The homeowner reached out to Porter Family Exteriors to perform an inspection because he trusted the family-owned and operated business’s knowledge of product and installation methods.
James Hardie Siding Pulls Together a Brand New Look
The homeowner called Porter Family Exteriors out to inspect his roof, which we did, and then submitted our findings to the insurance company, complete with documented pictures and estimates for repairs. We then met with his adjuster and ensured all damage was fully documented.
We updated their home’s exterior with a new roof, siding, window trims, gutters, fascia, and soffits. Our rep showed the homeowner all the benefits of upgrading to James Hardie siding. After the homeowner made his selections, we installed James Hardie siding in Woodstock Brown, GAF HDZ shingles, Azek window trims, Mid-American shutters in Black, and detailed Azek window boxes with crown moldings.
There’s No Challenge That We Can’t Handle
When removing the roof, our team found that there were no fascia boards on the rakes and had to install new 2×6 fascia boards around the perimeter of the entire roof. But we were able to do this and still get the project done on time.
During the siding installation, it was discovered that a previous contractor improperly installed all the window cappings and we had to remove everything the previous contractor had done wrong and install new Azek trim around all the windows. Our team gave the homeowner three different options to remedy the situation, and once he had made a decision, we worked extra hard to get the project back on track!
