A family from West Chester, Philadelphia, was overjoyed when they witnessed the transformation of their two-story colonial home’s exterior. Not long before, the surface frame had been falling apart. The stucco siding, known for being cost-effective, was not meeting expected standards, and the gutters and window coverings also needed care.
Upon closer inspection, it was discovered that Celotex boards, instead of plywood, were used to support the structure of the home. These boards had diminished in quality, presenting another opportunity for the family to make additional changes in protecting their home and investment.

After performing a full-site evaluation of the home, we enlisted the help of our partners at Hover to upload pictures and create a 3D model of the home with accurate measurements. Once the model was ready, we reconvened with the family to discuss the scope of work and pricing. The client had to decide between vinyl or Hardie siding. After careful consideration, they found that Hardie checked all the boxes, offering dependability, sturdiness, and style, providing them with the best return on their investment.
Boosted Curb Appeal & a Beautiful Outside Look
In the end, the services we provided elevated the look and feel of the home. With hard work, understanding, and expertise, we accomplished the following:
- Performed stucco remediation by replacing the material with Hardie fiber cement siding in the Cedar Mill style and Gray Slate color.
- Installed new vinyl soffits.
- Placed aluminum capping on the fascia boards.
- Added new aluminum capping on the windows.
- Put in place new gutters with downspouts.
The family looked at the remodeled exterior and rejoiced. All of their concerns were addressed, and they could find comfort in knowing their home was safe and secure!
