A North Wales homeowner knew she had some storm damage on her roof. She called on our experts at Porter Family Exteriors who came over to inspect it and discuss a repair or replacement plan. Upon inspection, we found extensive hail damage and helped her file a claim with her insurance company.
During our initial meeting, we noticed some additional problems, including stains on the stucco, which indicated water damage. This was common among the other Colonial-style homes in the neighborhood, many of which had replaced their stucco already. In addition to the new roof, we suggested replacing the stucco and installing new ProVia fiberglass windows to give added style and efficiency over their current vinyl windows. The homeowner agreed to the plan, and we got started!

Roof Replacement
The homeowner chose a black GAF roof for the entire house. GAF asphalt shingle roofing is durable, low-maintenance, cost-effective, and, most importantly, can withstand sun, wind, fire, and other inclement weather conditions, including hail. Our client won’t have to tangle with a storm-damaged roof again!
Stucco Remediation & Window Installation
We also created an estimate for the stucco remediation and the window replacement. The homeowner chose James Hardie fiber cement lap and board and batten siding in Arctic White with black vinyl shutters for a modern farmhouse look.
For her windows, she selected ProVia Endure vinyl windows. ProVia Endure windows are low-maintenance, energy-efficient, durable, and affordable. To achieve an up-to-the-minute look, ProVia offers popular colors paired with wood grain.
The entire renovation went smoothly, and our team stayed on its promised schedule. We installed the roof in only two days and completed the stucco remediation project a few weeks later.
